We are a part-time, non-residential school. Most of our students work full-time jobs. If you have a passion to be transformed and see the world changed by the supernatural power of God, then join us on an exciting journey.
Q. When does the school year start and end?
A. Our SOKE BETA Session runs from January through May of 2016. Our SOKE Year One runs from September of 2016 to May of 2017. Visit our School tab for further details.
Q. What will I be learning at SOKE?
A. Your Kingdom Identity, which will allow you to move into your destiny of living a powerful life here in the earth!
Q. When is my application due?
A. October 15, 2016, is the application deadline, for those interested in attending SOKE BETA Session. Go to the Apply Page here on the SOKE website to apply now. SOKE Year One application will open on January 1, 2016.
Q. What is the application process?
A. Once we have received your application, we will contact you via email to inform you of your acceptance status. To officially reserve your spot and establish your commitment, a $200.00 deposit (of which $100.00 is non-refundable) is due within 30 days of receiving your acceptance letter. You may mail a check to SOKE, 28186 Highway 98, Daphne, AL 36526.
Q. How much will the school cost?
A. SOKE BETA Session is $550.00, which covers books, materials, 7 Habit Training, Family Life and City Expansion. The $200.00 deposit is included in the $550. The balance is due by December 15, 2015. SOKE Year One cost is TBD, but will range from $1300-$1550.
Q. What are the age requirements?
A. You must be at least 16 years of age to apply. If you are under 18 years of age, you must currently attend Destiny Church International.
Q. Will there be housing available for out-of-town students?
A. No official housing is offered.
Q. Do I need to be a member of Destiny Church International in order to attend the school?
A. No. We are excited that this school really is about expanding the Kingdom! We can’t do that well if we are all connected to only one church!
Q. Where does the school meet?
A. We are currently meeting at Destiny Church International, 28186 Highway 98, Daphne, AL, in the Main Auditorium. We are believing God to open other doors so we can partner with other churches/locations in the area.
Q. When does the school meet?
A. Our sessions will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6pm – 9pm, with 7 Habit Training, Family Life and City Expansion occurring at other times. Visit our School Calendar for more details.
Q. What will the homework look like?
A. Students will have required Bible and book reading and occasionally “activation” homework that is assigned during school.
Q. Who are the guest speakers?
A. Because we love to equip and empower others, we have a wide variety of speakers who have “fruit” of living out a Kingdom Lifestyle! You will enjoy hearing the hearts and wisdom of so many powerful Men and Women of God!
Q. How much hands-on training will there be?
A. We believe that practice is essential to grow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Therefore we create a safe atmosphere to equip the hearts of God’s sons and daughters. We practice prophesying, healing, intercession and blessing one another to make it a way of life.
Q. How feasible is it for me to work a full-time/part-time job during the school year?
A. Most students work full-time jobs throughout their school experience, so it’s very possible.
Q. Does SOKE ever schedule events outside of the specific calendared events?
A. Yes. Sometimes opportunities arise that will be beneficial to our students. In those cases, we will attempt to schedule 30 days out, which will require the event mandatory. Otherwise, we will suggest you join us but the event will not be mandatory. You will not want to miss any of these special opportunities.
